Mena Malgonkar

Mena is a graphic space designer and an artist, with about 22 years experience in the advertising and design industry.

After graduating from Bangalore University(BFA) with honours in ’93, she has worked as an Art Director in advertising agencies such as Mudra, Rediffusion, FCB. Some of her work has won awards. She also works on Institutional design, where she designs space using a combination of digital and hand painted art.
Painting is an important part of her life, both for commercial and personal projects. She recently conceptualised and executed painting a farm at Nowina, in Poland, with Sanskrit sayings and India-themed art.

In her words ‘I love the preciousness of nature, of life. I try to create paintings that reflect the sacredness of life. My work is happy and peaceful. ‘A painting, for me, should make me happy every time I look at it’.
